Real Steel
I didn't know much about the storyline of this film going in the theater.1 thing i was sure of was that it would be action packed. And i was right.Besides having amazing robot fights and action, there was a great storyline(similar to "Rocky") and great acting, especially from Hugh Jackman's son in the film. The robot fighting scenes were done in an excellent way,as well as the training sequences between Hugh Jackman and Atom the robot. This is a high energy film full of adrenaline, also kinda mushy with a great message behind it. You could really relate to the characters and what they were going through. by the end of the film, you;ll find yourself rooting for Atom and feel as if you're part of the action. It's Rocky mixed with Transformers.but better, 10/10 and a must see.Worthy of adding to my dvd collection

The Three Musketeers (2011)
" The 3 Musketeers" is one of my all time favorite books. The 1993 cinema version was 1 of my favorite films as a child. Still is. When I found out they were remaking it, excitement took over me.
The story and general concept are still the same. Just slightly modified. The director, Paul Anderson (Resident Evil, Death race) is no stranger to action films. He provided the movie with a touch of stylized action and contemporary fight scenes. Logan Lerman showed that he is turning into Hollywood's young actors to watch. the rest of the actors portraying the musketeers did a good job. the stand out for me was Orlando Bloom. he stole every scene he was in and made an excellent villain, despite appearing in a few number of scenes. Christoph Waltz did an amazing job as he always does, justifying his oscar win 2 yaers ago. My only complaint was the over use of Milla Jovovich. her character is minor in the books and previous film adaptations, but somehow it felt like she was in every single scene. i knew beforehand that she is married to the director , so there's no surprise there.
Overall, it was an enjoyable film.great time at the movies and kept your interest for 2 hours. the 3D wasn't that great though. recommended to those who love adventure films . 8/10

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2
this will be an emotional and biast review since the Harry Potter franchise is my favorite. after Part 1 set the mood i went into this film with high expectations, meaning more action and suspense. and i wasn't disappointed. this has to be the best film in the series. it's like the production team saved the best for last. 100% accurate to the novel. this movie had everything. action.romance.suspense.comedy.drama. and one of the best finales in motion picture history.
the story picks off where Part 1 ended, with Voldemort stealing the elder wand from Dumbledore's grave. After that it's blink and miss it.from the scene at Gringotts bank to the climax at Hogwarts there is a barely a dull scene. being a huge Potter fan , i can honestly say my expectations were met and then some. the most profitable franchise in movie history goes out with a bang and ends appropriately. i am going for a second viewing next week. i give this film an A+. perfect and flawless.to the harry potter fans i suggest u go immediately. we will miss you, Harry,Ron and Hermione

X-Men : First Class
i know that any1 who's wanted to watch this already has but i'll review it anyway.
X-Men : First Class is an origin story about Xavier and Magneto explaining how the X-Men came to be. this film is up there with The Dark Knight as the best super hero movies ever made and definitely the best in the franchise.James Mcavoy and Michael Fasspender are brilliant in their portrayals of Professor X and Magneto respectively.Fasspender especially was hauntingly brilliant.Mc Avoy was great to watch as always. The storyline kept me interested all the way through and the special effects were in a word breathtaking.Supporting cast did really well.the standouts were Nicholas Hoult(from "About A boy")portraying Hank Mccoy/The Beast(my all time favorite X-Man) and Kevin Bacon as the deliciously evil Sebastian Shaw. Aside from the brilliant acting by the 2 main characters, the 2 other reasons why this film was brilliant in every way was the direction of Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) and the production team of Bryan Singer. go watch this movie as soon as you can since it deserves to be experienced on the big screen. hoping for a sequel soon. i give this an 11 out of 10

Kung Fu Panda 2
Kung Fu panda 2 takes place after the events of the first one.Po has mastered martial arts and is now part of the team of The Furious 5.this movie maybe a bit funnier but lacks the originality of part 1. It shows Po wanting to discover his roots and has many heartbreaking moments. the positives: Jack Black is back!! he just seems so comfortable with this role and is completely at ease. there is a lot more action and heart this time around.plus more jokes showing the actor's comedic talent. Gary Oldman as Shen seemed to enjoy himself. the negatives: focused too much on Anjelina Jolie's character.far too less screen time for Schifou who i thoroughly enjoyed in the first one.the villain in this one didn't really seem to convince me.
Overall it was an enjoyable feel good time at the movies.hope for a third one because of how it ended. give it a 8/10.worth watching at the cinema plus the 3D was cool.
